"An Order of the Government Commissioner FRÉRON, carries: As of 25 Pluviôse (Year 4, February 14, 1796) the Military Commanders will have represented by their parents the certificates of the Volunteers or Young Men of the Requisition, which attest to their arrival at their Battalions; failing which, they will garrison more or less considerably with the said parents."
