André MARY (1879-1962, medievalist poet) / Important correspondence to René-Georges Hermann-Paul (1864-1940, illustrator) concerning illustrations for his "Doctrinal des Preux": autograph manuscript (some twenty pages, in different formats) in which he describes the various personalities ("les Preux") whose engravings Hermann-Paul is to produce, with details of the layout; 7 autograph letters signed from January to May 1916 (11 p in-8) giving details of the engravings; 3 autograph letters signed from February to March 1919, giving drawings of the coats of arms of each of the Preux, to appear on each engraving [The work was published by Pichon in 1919].
