Joséphine Thérèse Adam is the wife of General Charles Denis Sauter Bourbaki (1816-1897), Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor, son of Greek Colonel Constantin Denis Bourbaki who died in the Greek War of Independence - 2 A.S. letters dated May 11 and June 3, 1872. He speaks of the Society of Saint Cecilia, which gave a benefit evening for the poor thatched cottages ruined by the war, and assures us that she is happy to be one of the collectors.
