Béatrice BRETTY, Comédie-Française actress. Béatrix Anne-Marie Bolchesi (1893-1982), known by her stage name Béatrice Bretty, was a French actress. She was a member of the Comédie-Française for over 25 years. Her lover was Georges Mandel, a collaborator of Georges Clémenceau who was assassinated by militiamen in 1944 - Letter A.S. Written in Bad Gastein on August 2, 1962, to her friend Roland, congratulating him on his promotion. Letter on the letterhead of the Hotel Kaiserhof. Signed "Béatrice Bretty".
