Set of 4 Letters addressed to him and 2 Pieces concerning him (1777 - 1794): Letter signed Pierre SUE (1739 - 1816) Physician, Acting Secretary of the Royal Academy of Surgery. Response from the Academy to his observations and practice in childbirth: Paris October 27, 1786 "... For example, when you were called in to complete a delivery in which the surgeon who had preceded you had torn off one of the child's arms, would it not have been more methodical, instead of extracting it in pieces, as you did, to complete the delivery by fetching the feet?..." + Letter signed Félix VICQ D'AZYR (Valognes 1748 - 1794), Physician and Anatomist, physician to Marie-Antoinette and Louis XVI (Sciences): March 1787, "I have placed before the eyes of the Royal Society of Medicine (your) letter... as well as your observations on an epidemic disease which reigns in Lauragais and its surroundings. The Company has heard your letter and has asked me to express its gratitude; your observations have been well received by the Society...". + Letter from MAZERETTES (sic Maserete) dated September 18, 1777. D'OLMIÈRES Fils asks to examine Mr. Joubert's eyes, both threatened by cataracts.
