His Majesty, King LOUIS XV, grants him and donates the Archbishopric of Bourges which is now being run by the Cardinal de ROYE DE LA ROCHEFOUCAULD last titular. "Today August 15, 1757, the King being at Versailles." Provisional patent pending receipt of letters from the Court of Rome. Coin signed by King LOUIS XV (Secretary), countersigned by Louis PHELIPEAUX. (He occupied the seat of archiepiscopal of Bourges for thirty years, from 1757 to 1787). Vellum (25 x 33)
