PARIS, 28th April 1809, addressed to Mr. Gilbert BOUCHET Substitute for the Imperial Prosecutor of Florence in AREZZO, Department of ARNO, who informs him of the good spirit and zeal that Mr. De La TOUR Lieutenant of the Gendarmerie in Arezzo brings to the exercise of his duties. Subscription of 8 lines of Marshal MONCEY: "Mr. BOUCHER, I saw your father two days ago, he was well; both of us have pleasure in speaking about you, and I have a lot of satisfaction to see you honor in French Italy the masterly functions entrusted to you; we had so many Frenchmen who were driving away confidence instead of commanding it! I embrace you from the heart."
