Generality of ROUEN (76). 1707. GOLD & SILVER MONEY. "Order of the Council of State of the King, of 29th October 1707, which orders that in execution of the declaration of 18th October last, all conventions and stipulations made before 1st December next for payments, shall be executed; & that from the said day, all payments may be made and stipulated, only three quarters in Gold and Silver Currency, & one quarter in newly converted Notes of the Mint, except in the places and cases excepted by the said Declaration. - & Order of Guillaume Urbain de LAMOIGNON, Knight, Count de LAUNAY-COURSON, Intendant in the Generality of ROUEN.
