It therefore invites all the Citizens of PARIS to help it, with their meeting, their enlightenment, their patriotism, for the preservation of the precious deposit that the French people have entrusted to it... If you do not join the National Representation, the constituted Authorities, are without subordination, & the Armies without direction; victories become a scourge, & the French People is delivered to all the fury of the internal divisions, instead of mixing your cries with those of the malevolent, the aristocrats & the enemies of the People, & the Homeland will be saved once again...".
