LOIR AND DAR. CAR LIGHTING. Arrêté d'Ulysse RENOU The Mayor of VENDÔME, made on December 6, 1836, wanting to obviate the unfortunate accidents that can happen daily in this town, on the part of valet drivers and drivers of public cars, by the speed or misdirection of their cars. - It is enjoined to all Drivers of Public and Private Cars, travelling through the city, after 6 o'clock in the evening, to keep lanterns constantly lit, beside their cars, to guide them in the direction of their cars.
