The lower field is decorated with the tughra of Sultan Mahmud II (1223-1255 AH / 1808-1839) in a crown. Garlands and friezes enclosing verses: - In the name of the Merciful God - Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, the Self-Subsistent - Neither drowsiness nor sleep seizes Him - To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth - Who can intercede with Him without His permission - He knows their past and their future - And His knowledge, they embrace only what He wants - His throne "Kursiy" overflows from the heavens and the earth - whose guardianship costs Him no trouble - And He is the Most High, the Most Great 200 x 150 cm.
