Asie. Chine. Large circular mirror with 16 intertwined snake dragons. Silver bronze. D 17.5cm. As is. Green and red oxidation. Frieze forming a round of 8 pairs of dragons intertwined 2 by 2. The dragons are covered with scales in square spirals. The bottom of the mirror with curved edges is very finely engraved with spirals and rhombuses. The central attachment ring is said to be "fluted in an arch", characteristic of the end of the Eastern Zhou period. China. Style of the Fighting Kingdoms. Estimate
