Well preserved copy: small rubbing at the headdresses. Fresh, slightly freckled interior. Le Crépuscule des dieux is a novel by Élémir Bourges (1852-1925), published in March 1884 by Giraud. Inspired by the character and destiny of Charles II of Brunswick, the novel tells the story of the life of luxury and debauchery led by Charles d'Este, the deposed sovereign of Blankenbourg, exiled to Paris with his five children.
