Well preserved copy: small rubbings of use on the headdresses. Inside fresh and without freckles. Olivier Larronde, born in La Ciotat on 2 August 1927 and died in Paris on 31 October 19651, is a French poet. In 1943, he went up to Paris to meet Jean Cocteau, whom he soon met, and in his wake, Jean Genet. Genet, an admirer, persuaded the publisher Marc Barbezat to publish his first collection of poems, Les Barricades mystérieuses in 1946. This publication, which aroused the interest of authors such as Michel Leiris and Raymond Queneau, gave the young poet a certain renown and opened the pages of Barbezat's literary review, l'Arbalète. Larronde frequented the Parisian literary scene where he left few people indifferent. Mandiargues will speak of his work as "royally modern". He then leads a bohemian and dilettantism life in the company of his friend Jean-Pierre Lacloche. His second collection Rien voilà l'ordre (an anagram of his name) appeared in 1959, illustrated with thirty-one drawings by Giacometti.
