Macleod Fiona From the Hills of Dream, threnodies, songs and other poems. New edition, published in Portland, Maine, by Thomas B. Mosher, 1910. Covered in a half vellum binding with ribbed spine. A well-preserved copy. William Sharp (born September 12, 1855, in Paisley and died December 12, 1905, in Maniace Castle, Syracuse, Sicily) was a Scottish writer. Beginning in 1893, he also wrote under the name Fiona MacLeod, a pseudonym kept almost secret during his lifetime. He also edited the poetry of Ossian, Walter Scott, Matthew Arnold, Algernon Swinburne and Eugene Lee-Hamilton.
