Contains: - Volume I: The Day After Agadir (1912) - Volume II: The Balkans on Fire (1912) - Volume III: Europe under arms (1913) - Volume IV: The Sacred Union (1914) - Volume V: The Invasion (1914) - Volume VI: The Trenches (1915) - Volume VII: Siege Warfare (1915) - Volume VIII: Verdun (1916) - Volume IX: The Troubled Year (1917) - Volume X: Victory and Armistice (1918) Covered in half vellum with a smooth spine with black titling and containing many black plates. Well preserved set: pages a little yellowed with some light freckles. Raymond Poincaré, born on 20 August 1860 in Bar-le-Duc (Meuse) and died on 15 October 1934 in Paris, was a French lawyer and statesman. He was President of the French Republic from February 18, 1913 to February 18, 1920.
