LOIRE] MANUSCRIT: Administrative Justice under Napoleon III. - Lot 163
LOIRE] MANUSCRIT: Administrative Justice under Napoleon III. A farmer of the State in front of his owner. Paperback, format 28.5 x 21 cm of 47 pages and a folding map of 34 x 45 cm. (cover soiled). Important memorandum of appeal presented by Emile MARIE on September 20, 1868 against the French Administration concerning a conflict opposing him to the State and its Services about the property and the enjoyment of two Islands located on the Loire in the Commune of MUIDES. The owner is trying to assert his rights in the face of restrictions on his use by the Administration, which he considers abusive. His justificatory memorandum, in perfectly legible handwriting, is very detailed and well argued. Interesting testimony of a conflict between an owner and the State under the Second Empire. A large captioned watercolor plan accompanies the memoir.
