Stamped vellum (25 x 39): "Let us appoint François ROY, the young, Master of the Trade of Charon in our City of BOURGES to make of the aforementioned Mastery to make free exercise, to enjoy and use by the aforementioned ROY, his widow & his children after his death, with the Rights, Privileges & Prerogatives belonging to it, all as well as the other Masters Jurors of the aforementioned Trade, received by masterpiece in the aforementioned place, with the power to put there and to hold on street,...., vices, utensils, & other things necessary for the use of the said Trade, all as well as the other Masters having made masterpiece & experience...
