Resolved to adopt a Liberal Constitution, we summon for the 10th of June The Senate and Legislature.... The representative Government will be maintained. The tax will be freely consented. Public and individual Liberty assured. The Freedom of the press respected, except for the precautions necessary for public tranquility. The Freedom of Worship guaranteed. The properties will be inviolable and sacred; the sale of national goods will remain irrevocable... The judges will be irremovable, and the judicial power independent.
