MANCHESTER. CAPTAIN OF THE EMPIRE of the Ex 2nd Italian Light Infantry Regiment. Extract of the register serving for the inscription of the services and military campaigns of Captain LECLUSE (Jean Baptiste) born in CARANTILLY (Manche), certified made in COUTANCES (50) on August 3, 1816. Form printed in CHERBOURG, filled in ink (36,5 x 44,5 cm). He made the Campaigns under the Generals CANCLAUX, HOCHE, BONAPARTE, the Marshals SUCHET, SOULT, and the Prince King of Italy (Eugène de Beauharnais). Brilliant actions; he took 2 field pieces at the affair of Bixen in Tyrol in 1809. Particularly distinguished himself at the Deposa affair and at the assault on Castres in Biscay in 1814. Wounded by several shots.
