"Arrest of the Court of Parliament bearing prohibitions to all Judges of its jurisdiction to release (to release) any Prisoners condemned to banishment for time or for life, & ... to make them be brought in the Prisons of the conciergerie of the Court.". of July 5, 1725. Germaine Gourd, widow of Guillaume Lafargue, Prisoner, appealing a sentence given by the Royal Judge of Sainte Foy, of August 19, 1723, which condemns her to Banishment for three years, for the crime of concealment & Magdelaine Mathieu also condemned for the crime of theft... condemns the aforementioned Germaine Gourd to be beaten and fustigated with twelve strokes of the rod by the executor of High Justice, banished for 10 years from the Sénéchaussées of Guyenne, Libourne & Bergerac & fined 10 Livres towards the Roy....
