Order of Charles Jean Baptiste DES GALOIS, first President of the Parliament, Intendant in Provence; Done at AIX (13) on May 3, 1756 - Royal Vignette - Presentation of a Militiaman by the Community before the Sieur de LENFANT Provincial Commissioner of the Wars, under penalty of 100 Livres of fine, let us enjoin them to provide subsistence to the Militiamen... "Let us very expressly forbid the Militiamen to substitute others for their places, under penalty of 6 months of prison, & 10 years of service in the Militia beyond the time that he will be found to have served, of 3 years of Galleys against the man who was substituted, & 500 livres of fine against the Mayor & Consuls...".
