1792. "JUGMENT OF LOUIS CAPET" (King LOUIS XVI). Decrees of the National Convention of November 29, 1792; "Suppression of the Criminal Court established by the Law of August 17 last & December 6, 1792 & "JUDGMENT OF LOUIS CAPET" (in 8 articles.) "1) The Commission of 24, the Committees of Legislation & of General Safety will each appoint 3 members who will meet with the Commission of 12. 2) The Commission of 21 Members will present on Monday morning, the Act enumerating the crimes of which LOUIS CAPET is accused; it will put in a suitable order all the documents in support of this Act. 3) The Commission will present in the Session of Tuesday, the series of questions to be put to LOUIS CAPET. 4) The Convention will discuss in its Monday session, THE ENUNCIARY ACT OF THE CRIMES OF LOUIS CAPET. 5) The next day LOUIS CAPET will be brought to the bar of the Convention, to hear the reading of this Act & to answer the questions which will be made to him, only by the organ of the President. 6) The day after this appearance at the Bar, THE NATIONAL CONVENTION will pronounce on THE Fate of LOUIS CAPET, by roll call; each member will present himself to the Tribune. 7) The National Convention charges the Executive Council, under its responsibility, to take all the measures necessary for the general safety during the Course of the judgment of LOUIS CAPET." - Printed in DOUAI (59), by the Printing House of MARLIER, printer of the Department of the North.
