(CHOUANS.) 1795 "JUDGMENT OF THE REVOLUTIONARY MILITARY COMMISSION, established for the Departments of INDRE-ET-LOIRE, LOIR-ET-CHER, sitting provisionally in TOURS, which condemns to the death penalty Jean Joseph DABILLY, Ex-Advocate in CHINON, 37 years old, as having attempted to undermine the loyalty of Municipal Officers, by exalting the successes of the Rebels, who were threatening the Commune at the time, & telling them: That they would be well pleased one day to have done service to the suspicious people, for whom he sought to wrest from them a certificate of civism, & offering them the example of the Municipality of SULLY & that of CHINON, which he portrayed himself as their superior. To have sought to raise doubts on the validity of the acceptance of the Republican Constitution... and to have sought to degrade the Convention...
