NAPOLEON. 1813. 31st Bulletin of THE GREAT ARMY. Official news of the Army, on September 26 (1813), addressed to H.M. the Empress Queen-Regent. Folder (45 x 34 cm). Published by the Prefecture of the Seine-et-Marne, in MELUN, from the printing house of Lefèvre-Compigny: "On the 21st, the Emperor (Napoleon) came to sleep in Dresden, and on the 22nd, he went to Hartau: he immediately had the Eleventh Corps, commanded by the Duke of Taranto, the Fifth Corps, commanded by General Lauriston, and the Third Corps, commanded by General Souham, move out beyond the forest of Bischofswerda. The Duke of Bellune occupied the position of Freyberg... The Duke of Ragusa, with the Sixth Corps and the cavalry of General Latour-Maubourg, was beyond Grossenhayn. He had pushed back the enemy on the right bank beyond Torgau, to facilitate the passage of a convoy of twenty thousand quintals of flour which went up the Elbe on boats, and which arrived at Dresden. The Duke of Padua is at Leipsick; the Prince of Moskwa between Wittenberg and Torgau General Count Lefebvre-Desnouettes was, with four thousand horses, following the defector Thielmann..."
