THE TOWER OF AUVERGNE. 1782. EURE. Letter signed "Le Duc de BOUILLON" written from the Castle of NAVARRE (EURE) on May 5, 1782. Godefroy Charles Henri de LA TOUR D'AUVERGNE, (Paris 1728 - Castle of Navarre near Evreux 1792) Aristocrat, Peer of France in 1771. He was Prince of Turenne then Duke of Bouillon, Duke of Albret, Duke of Château-Thierry, Count of Evreux and Grand Chamberlain of France from 1747 to 1775 - 2pp 1/2 in-4°. Text about the advancement of a man for whom he is attached. I shall always be flattered to see you when your business or other motives bring you to my Township..."
