In-4 contemporary stiff vellum, spine ribbed and decorated in the Du seuil style on the boards with arms in the centre, laces (renewed, small wetness at the end of the volume). Very beautiful engraved frontispiece, one plate out of text and engravings of medals in the text. Beautiful copy with arms very close to those of the city of Amsterdam. Sextus Aurelius Victor, known simply as Aurelius Victor (c. 327 - c. 390) was a Roman historian and politician from the Roman province of Africa.
