[FEMINISM] Flora TRISTAN (1803-1844) French woman of letters, thinker and socialist and feminist activist: LA dated Paris this January 2 (1839) "Madame Flora Tristan will receive M. Granier tomorrow Thursday about mici so that he can talk to her about the affair of which he speaks in his letter of December 28". Around 1839. The case in question must be the Chazal trial. A handwritten notice contemporary to the trial is attached, 5 pp. in-8, relating to the Chazal Affair (accused of having attempted to murder his wife, Flora Tristan, Chazal will be sentenced to 20 years of hard labour) transcribing the testimony of Flora Tristan on January 31, 1839.
