NASA. LARGE FORMAT. Magnificent view of the nebula known as "Devil". It is a planetary nebula located in the Constellation of the Fox at a distance of approximately 1200 light years from Earth. It was first identified by the French astronomer Charles Messier in 1764. In reality, despite its status as a planetary nebula, the Devil's Nebula is made up of gas ejected from a central star visible in this photo. This star is now in its final stage of evolution. 1998. Vintage chromogenic print. Numbering on the front. Legend on the back label. 40,6 x 40,6cm with margins.
