WW1. BATTLE OF THE MARNE 1918. Speech of General Bernard de SERRIGNY, delivered on July 13, 1924 in DORMANS on the occasion of the anniversary of the Battle of the Marne. Tapuscript of 10 pages in-4° with autograph letter signed to his cousin Bodard and also signed on the last page. He recounts "some episodes of the history of the Dear Division that I commanded during the events of July 1918...". - General Bernard SERRIGNY (1870/1954) was promoted to Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor on July 8, 1932. In August 1945, he was asked to give a deposition during the trial of Marshal Pétain. He died in 1954, leaving several works of memories and reflections on the war.
