Absolute military leave for Léonard DUPUYS, rifleman of the 6th Company, 2nd Battalion, native of Madrange Corrèze, soldier in the former 1st Auxiliary Battalion of Corrèze; made the Campaign of year 8; let us attest moreover of his honor and probity, and that his wounds come from the events of the War. Done in STRASBOURG on 20 Germinal year 9 (10 April 1801). Piece signed SCHAUENBURG (Alexis-Balthazar-.., count of) Hellimer 1748-1832 - General - Beautiful vignette with frieze - Decorative - on the back his certificate of visit "Military Hospice of Ste Marguerite in Strasbourg... received near HERBACH a shot in the upper part of the leg which fractured this extremity to him...".
