NASA. Apollo 16 mission. Rare and superb view of the ascent stage of the lunar module which carries with it the two astronauts John W. Young and Charles M. Duke Jr. who have just completed the Apollo 16 mission on the Moon. They join in this strange spacecraft the lunar command module which will bring them back on Earth. The lunar ground is clearly visible at the bottom of the picture. April 23, 1972, chromogenic print slightly posterior on "KODAK" paper. NASA logo and numbering on the front. NASA logo and caption on the back. 20,3 x 25,7CM with margins.
