OMEGA Seamaster - reference 165.002 Steel city watch with automatic movement. - Round steel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screwed back. - Silver dial (light dots), applied baton hour markers, straight luminescent hands, straight central second hand. - Brown leather strap, vintage metal pin buckle. Case, dial, buckle and movement signed. Movement: mechanical with automatic winding. Movement caliber 552 - numbered 21.228.132 (circa 1964) Case numbered 165.002 - SGR in a coat of arms Diameter: 34 mm - Strap length: 15 - 20 cm A very common model and produced in large numbers, this automatic Seamaster is emblematic of the waterproof watch of the 1960s. At a time when sport became a way of life, even if it is not intended to be a sports or diving watch, its water-resistance makes it robust to external aggressions that can affect the proper functioning of the mechanisms, such as water and dust.
