OMEGA - Lot 18
OMEGA Pocket watch - "FRANCE" Pocket watch in silver 900 thousandths with mechanical movement. - Round silver case, bezel chased with a floral decoration, fluted crown, stylized bezel, officer's background with the profile of the allegory of France with the symbol of Marianne surmounted by the French cock. - White enamel dial, black painted Arabic and Roman numerals, blackened steel "Stuart pear" hands, small right-hand seconds at 6 o'clock. Case and dial signed. (Name of the engraver illegible) Movement: mechanical with manual winding. Movement not numbered. Case numbered 3.111.428 (circa 1904) Diameter : 47 mm - Gross weight : 73,86 g Effigy of Marianne, probably signed L. Bottée or Ad. Rivet, medallists of Paris. A similar model is kept in the Omega Museum in Biel under the references 864 and 30 (page 65). Condition report: Good general condition, dial in good condition, wear scratches and patina on the case, yellowed glass, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
