OMEGA - Lot 120
OMEGA Dynamic - reference 166.0039 Steel city watch with automatic movement. - Steel ellipse case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screwed back. - Blue dial with silver highlights, painted baton hour markers, straight white painted hands, straight central second hand painted in blue, date window at 3 o'clock. - Black leather strap, vintage steel pin buckle. Case, dial, buckle and movement signed. Movement: mechanical self-winding. (Watch not opened - caliber 565) Diameter: 36 x 42 mm - Length of the strap: 16 - 20 cm This model still has on the back, the purple protective wax affixed by the factory to avoid scratching the case backs during transport to a retailer. Never opened, this Dynamic is what we call a "New from Stock" watch. A similar model can be found in the collections of the Omega Museum in Biel on reference 2212 (page 483) and on an advertisement dated 1969 (page 482). Condition report: Very good general condition, close to new, slight patina on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
