NASA. Apollo 7/S-IVB mission RENDEZ-VOUS. The Saturn IV-B rocket stage photographed from the APOLLO 7 mission command module during the Earth orbit docking maneuvers from an altitude of 125 nautical miles above Earth. The distance between the two spacecraft is approximately 300 meters. The round disc of white color which appears inside the open panels of the S-IVB stage simulates the target for the attachment of the two vessels. In the background the globe reveals the coast of Cape Kennedy and the Atlantic Ocean on the coast of Florida. October 1968. vintage chromogenic print on "THIS PAPER MANUFACTURED BY KODAK" paper.
