Signed on a Certificate with the heading of his name and titles. "The Duke of CHEVREUSE, Peer of France, Count of Montfort and Chasteaufort, Captain Lieutenant of the Company of 200 Chevau-légers of the Ordinary Guard of His Majesty (Louis XVI). Given at VERSAILLES, April 11, 1689. Certify that Jacques TUBERT Écuyer, son of Madame de PORTMORT, is one of the 200 Chevau-légers of the aforementioned Company, and that he is currently serving at the Cornette..." 1p (17 x 22 cm) oblong.
