Before the Notaries of the Provost and Office of CONFLANS-EN-JARNISY (54), now at the Castle of LA GRANGE (57), appeared Messire Nicolas de BEAUCLAIN Knight Lord of Colmey, La Grange, Sub-Lieutenant of the Chevau-Légers of the Guard of His Royal Highness, Colonel of Cavalry living at the said LA GRANGE, who having reflected on the terms, clauses and conditions of the Donation he had previously made in favor of Messire Jacques Philippe de CHAMISSOT Chevalier Capitaine Cuirassier for the Service of His Imperial Majesty in the Regiment of Mr. de MARTIGNY, his nephew and son of his own sister in his absence by act of December 4, 1716... " he cancels the deed and makes a new one and he gives to his nephew " The Land and Seigniory of LA GRANGE, Le Châtelain, consisting of high and low justice, houses, meadows, land, woods, mills... and the Seigniory of VILLE-SUR-YON and VILLE-AUX-PRÉS. " Done in CONFLANS (54) on April 19, 1721. This "copy of the Donation was delivered to Monsieur de BONCOURT, in 1721. (The City of BONCOURT is in Meurthe-et-Moselle). Stamped manuscript of the Generality of Lorraine of 8 pages in-4°, 1 signature of the clerk.
