Barrois le Jeune, 1791. 3 vol. in-8 half calf with small period corners, smooth spine decorated (corners rubbed, some scattered scratches). Third edition. The author, the famous Parisian surgeon Raphaël Bienvenu Sabatier (1732-1811), had proposed to make a description of the human body as precise as possible by adding remarks drawn from the ancients and his contemporaries and without neglecting to give a good place to physiology and pathology. The work was republished several times during the 18th century. A good copy.
