François-Joseph Bertrand-Paraud, Parisian silversmith (active from 1817), Chalice and paten in silver and vermeil, each bearing four hallmarks: two title and guarantee hallmarks (Paris, 1819-1838), a third hallmark regularly used with them and traditionally called "trial hallmark" (the Greek lady in an oval, with a P) and finally the master hallmark: FJB. Model of the same goldsmith kept in the cathedral of Meaux. Chased and embossed decoration with grapes. Sold in their case. H. of the chalice : 19 cm. Ø paten 15,5 cm. Weight 636 gr.
