Boxing/Cerdan/Roland-Garros/Piaf/ On July 7, 1946, this rare ticket of the match reminds us that it is boxing at Roland-Garros. And the star fight in the middleweight category is Marcel Cerdan against the American Holman Williams. For 400f, you were in tribune B, and through the door 20-25, you had access to the place 001321, so you were well placed to attend the victory in points of Marcel. The owner of the ticket indicated on the back, in pencil, the result, as well as that of another fight, which saw a lit Charron get the better of Palmarini. In the star fight in 10 rounds, Marcel had damaged his right fist, and so it was Edith Piaf, who was eager to meet him, who comforted him that evening at the Club des Cinq (opposite L'Equipe). A first meeting, which was to lead to a flamboyant love story. This small blue rectangle in good condition (9x13,5) is thus touching in many ways...
