Paris, Les Ecoles de Cuisine du "Cordon Bleu", S.d. (circa 1st quarter 1931), ORIGINAL EDITION, in-8, glossy, text in blue on pale green background, 46 pp. ads in black. A rice recipe book known by amateurs and bibliophiles, published in 1934, but here presented in the 1931 Original Edition. This booklet was sold for the first time at the Exposition Coloniale, Pavillon de la Cochinchine, during the exhibition from May 6th to November 15th 1931. This edition was also on sale at the "Cordon Bleu", 129 faubourf St-Honoré in Paris from the same date. The title of the edition was "l'art d'accommoder le riz. A small collection of practical recipes for cooking, pastry and desserts"! The aim of this book was to promote the production of rice in the Asian colonies of France.
