Auguste Colombié (1845 - 1920) was the cook of the Prince and Princess F. de Hatzfeld-Wildembourg. Co-founder of the magazine "Cuisine Pratique". He was founder of the "Académie et Ecole de Cuisine". He also wrote in the gastronomic magazine "La Cuisine des Familles" directed by Jeanne Savaroin in 1905. He shared the ideas of a "new society" of Jean Jaurès. Our copy is presented in paperback as it was when it was published! (RARE in this form!). This treatise remains one of the best cookbooks of the beginning of the XXth century on cooking and pastry making! Very RARE. Very good condition of the covers and paper, the quires being uncut; traces of the staples through the paper of the spines.
