(circa 1907), 4th edition in part original, in-12, in paperback, 36 pp, 1 full page plate with 9 figures for making dahlias, table of contents, Ref. 338. Auguste Escoffier (1846 - 1935) is no longer presented, but we present here, through this booklet, his first book written in a long bibligraphy! This "Traité" was published for the first time in 1885, having been published as an article in 1883 in the magazine "L'art Culinaire". The second edition dates from 1186, the third from 1902 and the fourth, our copy, in 1907. In the past, the art of knowing how to make artificial bouquets applied to ornamentation was the complement of the science of the cooks. Our copy has a full page plate explaining how to make dahlia flowers in wax. It is presented in a soft blue cardboard ready to be bound. Today INTROUVABLE and Very Wanted. Very good condition of the paper with no foxing.
