Louis François TROUARD French architect. (Paris 1728-1804) Royal Academy of Architecture 1769, Prix de Rome 1753. He completed (towers and facade) the Cathedral Sainte-Croix of ORLÉANS between 1765 and 1771. Letter A.S. Grigni (GRIGNY 91) this June 4, 1769, to give to Mr. JEAURAT (Painter). 1p in-folio : " I have the honor to send you the drawing of the part of the friend's salon in which Mr. the Bishop of ORLÉANS must place the portrait of the King that you made him grant. He flatters himself that you will want to join to this favor that of advancing his enjoyment... " Apostille Mr. TROUARD has since told me that he agreed with Mr. JEAURAT that the portrait would be of the ordinary size."
