Duchess of MONTMORENCY. Louise Françoise de Montmorency-Luxembourg (1734-1818) was the daughter of Charles François Christian, Prince of Tingry. She married on February 17, 1752 Anne François de Montmorency-Luxembourg, Duke of Montmorency, Baron of Jaucourt in Champagne, Count of Tancarville and Gournay, Marquis of Seignelay. He was the son of Charles II Frédéric de Montmorency-Luxembourg and was made colonel of the regiment of Touraine on February 1, 1749, brigadier of infantry on July 22, 1759 and captain of the bodyguards - 3 autograph letters not signed addressed to M. de Plantade rue des Jacobins chez Mme veuve Cocher à Abbeville with a linear mark numbered "72 St Germain en Laye"; one written in Avesne on September 11, 1811, one dated September 11, 1812, and the last dated February 16, 1816. The first 2 evoke in particular Mmes de Rohan and de Fournaise, MM. de Mortemart and de Béthune, Mlle de L'Écluse etc... The Duchess speaks about the King as well as about her grandson Thibeau who accepted the 12th legion of the national guards in her 3rd letter.
