VAL D'OISE. 1814. Period copy of the deed of gift of an annuity of 250 francs by Mr. De PROVIGNY to the factory of VALMONDOIS (95) registered in Beaumont on September 24, 1814. Manuscript 4pp ¼ in-4°: "Before André Denis DAMBRY Royal Notary of Ile-Adam, appeared M. Jean André de PROVIGNY, member of the Electoral College of the department of Seine-et-Oise, Mayor of Valmondois, living in his dwelling of Orgivaux, who in the intention to perpetuate the memory of the feelings of joy that the inhabitants of Valmondois former Vassals of MONSIEUR, at the time Count of Provence, because of his domain of the Ile-Adam, and today LOUIS XVIII King of France and Navarre, showed at the time of the return to France of the family of the Bourbons... in order to remember the day when a Te Deum was sung in the Church of Valmondois in thanksgiving for an event as memorable as it was unexpected, and still wishing to renew every year the funeral service, celebrated in Valmondois, in expiation of the death of LOUIS XVI, of Marie-Antoinette... Mr. de Provigny gives to the Fabrique of the Church of Valmondois, 250 francs of annual and perpetual annuity... "
