Joseph-François MICHAUD was a historian, writer, journalist and pamphleteer, Member of the French Academy (Albens/Savoie 1767 - 1839) Signed MICHAUD, Member of the French Academy as President of the Historical Institute, on a Patent of "HISTORICAL INSTITUTE founded on December 24, 1833 and constituted on April 6, 1834." Mr. Captain François SICARD, attached to the Depot of the war is admitted as a full member of the Historical Institute. Paris June 25, 1834. Piece also signed by Eugène GARAY DE MONGLAVE (Bayonne 1796-1878) Writer and Journalist, Founder of the Diable boiteux, perpetual secretary and founder of the Historical Institute. Engraved patent filled in ink (22,5 x 33,5 cm)
