Paul LEROY-BEAULIEU, Economist, Professor at the Collège de - Lot 463
Paul LEROY-BEAULIEU, Economist, Professor at the Collège de France (1843 - 1916). Letter A.S. PARIS November 1, 1895, to his Printer. 1p in-8°: "Sir. The procedures of your printing house are incredible and my work will never be able to appear. What is urgent is the analytical table. Ten days ago, if not twelve, I gave you three plates of the analytical table, asking you for a second proof. Why hasn't this second proof arrived? Nothing is more urgent. Your printing house has no method, since you have no type, you must free it up by sending back second proofs. You are still going to prevent my work from being published before January 1st. So get to work on the second proofs of the analytical table right away; I would have already returned them to you. This is of the utmost urgency."
