Armande de POLIGNAC, Composer. Marie Armande Mathilde de Polignac, Comtesse de Chabannes-La Palice, was a French composer (1876-1962). She was the daughter of Camille de Polignac, a French aristocrat and military man who fought in the Confederate States Army during the Civil War, and Marie Adolphine Langenberger. She worked under the direction of Gabriel Fauré and Eugène Gigout and received conducting lessons from Vincent d'Indy. She got married in 1895 with Count Alfred de Chabannes La Palice - Autograph letter signed + envelope written in Paris XVI at 25 boulevard Jules Sandeau on November 1, 1927, addressed to Ch. Demogeot, director of "Lit tout". Letter of agreement for the service of clippings containing only reviews or criticisms at the price of 1,75 francs per clipping. Signed " Armande de Polignac ".
